Our Indian distribution partner Silicon microsystems uses the swastika (Hakenkreuz) in their logo. It is a very old hindu symbol which stands for happiness, luck and prosperity. Silicon microsystems use it in this best and positive way.

During World War II (1938 - 1945) this symbol has been abused by the German Nazis around Adolf Hitler who brought wide devastation, racial hatred, suppression and murdering over Europe. Today in Germany and some other European countries it is forbidden by law to use the swastika or even show it except for political education. But still the swastika (or derivates of it) is used by racist groups spreading their weird and twisted ideologies around the world.

Please do not associate Silicon microsystems to the above mentioned groups. It is just a different cultural context.

We want to state clearly and with great emphasis that we do not accept any racist thoughts, contents or activities. We also do not support any racist groups or parties. We deeply decline any Nazi ideology and strictly dissociate ourselves from those inhumane racist ideas or habits.
